Hello, I’m Leila. Welcome to my little creative space in the big wide world of the internet. I started this blog as a creative outlet after the birth of my first child, Hamish. I’m writing this with one hand as he sleeps peacefully on my chest. I wanted a place to share my thoughts & ideas, that I have on those late 2am feedings, with the world. Well maybe not the whole world but just a small part of it.
A little about me. I’m a thirty-something product designer originally from Australia, now living in America with my high-school sweetheart, Daniel, our son Hamish and our sweet Golden Retriever, Willow Bear. We’ve been in Washington over a decade now, and have fallen head-over-heels in love with the beauty of the mountains and the forests. I don’t know if we’ll ever leave. Sorry mum.
I’m an INFJ, Capricorn Sun Scorpio Moon, and Enneagram 6 Wing 5 if you’re into those kinda things. I like my coffee black and my beer icy cold. I prefer sweet over savoury but can’t refuse a slice of pizza, with extra anchovies please.
